Restore from iCloud-Absinthe

Okay guys Absinthe does not work for me unless I do a full restore. Problem being that I cannot restore my iCloud account once the update is finished because you can only restore from when the phone begins to set up?

I am stuck with this dilema! Any input is greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry, let me be more detailed. Running absinthe after a complete restore of the phone and then a restore from iCloud doesn't work. Only time that Absinthe works is when the phone fully restores and there is no backup yet restored.

Well I turned off iCloud to be able to back everything up to my iMac and it's currently transferring all my apps. Sadly I was forced to go to Claim Jumpers ;) and leave my phone behind and let it finish until I return.

One problem I saw was all my contacts are gone and was curious if it is going to backup them up the way it was before I deleted my iCloud account.
 
Solved: After I restored from iCloud... I deleted my iCloud account and backed up to the computer solved!

Love having my quick toggles available to me!
 
as long as you wait for iCloud restore to complete before installing Absinthe, it works just fine.

what did you do to get your iCloud backup and Absinthe to work? I just tried restoring and not restoring my backup. Absinthe didn't hang for me. But then it didn't give me the option to restore from iCloud.

Only time you can restore from an iCloud backup currently is at the beginning setup.

Here is what I did after failed attempts:

- Wiped my phone
- Restored from iCloud backup COMPLETELY!
- Deleted iCloud account and backed up to compter COMPLETELY!
- Restored my phone
- Went through setup and chose wifi network and setup as new phone only,
skipped everything else for now.
- Then finally with a completely restored phone and no backup yet, I ran
Absinthe and it worked flawlessly
- Once it's done and everything is working fine restore from last back up on
computer and you will have a jail broken phone with everything restored.
