I'm restoring my 6 backup onto my 6s. All of the apps are done, and now it's going through and restoring my photos and videos.

My question is... If I leave wi-fi, will it pause the restore? I have to leave in a couple hours and I don't want the restore to continue via cellular connection and use up my data. I'm hoping it stops when I leave, then automatically continues when I return home and reconnect to wi-fi.

Anyone know if that's what will happen?

Yes, with prior OS versions it has paused. You can see this by going into iCloud under settings and it will say "restoring from backup--paused" or something like that. At this point it is downloading media, which is no different than downloading media from iCloud at any other time (restoring from backup or not).
