Is it possible to restore your iPhone 4 from new instead of a backup without losing all your texts and app settings? Is there anyway to transfer the info back on there after restoring?

I just want to restore my iPhone 4 from new because I originally restored it from a backup of my 3GS and I feel like I'm not getting the most out of the battery.

If you restore you will have the option of using a backup or setting up as new. If you set up as new, your contacts and mail will sync, you will have to reinstall Apps and change all your settings again. Always best to set up as new and reinstall the first time around, esp with new OS. You can just Upgrade when 4.1 comes out. You will lose all Apps data though (game progress etc..)
