Restore from other time machine?

I traded my MBP for an iMac and now I'm trying to figure out how to restore it with my time machine backup. I've been using my windows box as my time machine since I don't have an external HD. My MBP time machine backups have been fine for 6 months now so I don't think that's the problem.

When I try to use the migration assistant or time machine, it doesn't see my old time machine backups from my MBP.

Anyone have any ideas?

Figured it out. I just found the sparsebundle on the SMB share in the finder and mounted it. Now migration assistant sees it.
