Note, I am not asking how to "un-jailbreak" or "re-lock" an iPhone.

Instead, I am wondering if it is possible that one of the backup profiles in my iTunes was created while my iPhone was jailbroken and unlocked. If I restore my iPhone to the original firmware and then choose one of these "hacked" backup profiles, will that essentially restore the jailbroken/unlocked state of my iPhone?

Some of the settings you changed under the jailbreak may remain (like if you changed the name of your carrier), but you won't have Cydia or anything

No. the "hacked" profiles only include basic stuff like carrier images and other small strings. The holes of jailbreak can't be opened by restoring of backup profile (can you imagine how easy it is to jailbreak if you could).
