Restore jailbroken iPhone with custom ios????

Hi There
Can any body help me in restoring iPhone 3g baseband 6.15? I am trying to restore my iPhone 3g with customised ios 4.2.1 but it is giving me error. My phone is completely dead. Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Help me.

Please do yourself and everyone else here a favor, and search before asking from now on. There are already many topics about this issue, such as this one from the 24th, and this one from today.


I'm not sure if you need to run the TinyUmbrella TSS server while doing this. It can't hurt, though, so go ahead and do it.

Boot into pwned DFU mode using Redsn0w, hold shift while clicking restore in iTunes, and restore using this firmware for the 3GS or this one for the 3G. Once the restore is complete, install Cydia using Redsn0w. Once that's done, turn off the phone and use Reds0w for a tethered boot.
