I just did restore Mac with time machine back up. It went well. I went back many previous stages. Not the latest one.
However, once it restarted and re backing up the system at normal. It turned out to back up almost the whole thing (33GB) instead of little incremental backup. I only saw a few back up snap shot showed up. Is something wrong with it? I use Synology NAS.

Thanks.

I don't know for sure, but I am guessing that because you restored your Mac to a much older point in time, there are many file changes between that point in time and the most recent Time Machine backup. Then when Time Machine goes to do a backup for the first time after restoring, it has to back up all of those files that are different from the last-saved version.
