Any way to restore default settings in Leopard, e.g. default dock and window sizes? I dont have the leopard restore disks because I got a free upgrade to leopard when my macbook's HD failed.

Easiest way. Create a new user account.

More difficult way and slightly dangerous. Delete certain com.apple.preferenceHere files from /Users/your shortname/Library/Preferences folder. To get window settings back you would have to get rid of every .DStore file. They are hidden but can be seen from the command line by appending -a to the ls command.
