Hey I know iOS 8 official is coming very soon but I'm stuck with the latest beta and I want to resotre before updating to the official release but it gives me an error 20 or 21 in iTunes when I try to restore and I need to restore before updating!! I tried to download the ipsw directly and then shift+restore I even tried shift+check for update but it doesn't work. Please help!!!

Download an iOS 7 ipsw file and shift+restore. Or I think it's command restore on a Mac.
Hey!It worked! I used ReiBoot for booting up my device in recovery mode and it worked! Yes! Thanks for the great support and help guys!(not that you told me about reiboot but you told me to put in recovery mode-don't think you didn't help you gave me the clue and I downloaded the program. Your part is harder

Why not just wait for the GM, do an OTA update, backup and then restore. Why do you want to revert to ios7? You'll lose everything from the past couple months.
So when the GM is released, I won't be able to update OTA? How could you possibly know this?

Unencrypted backup?
Does anyone know how to do a back up that is not encrypted? While in iTunes, the checkbox to do encrypted backup is greyed-out and checked. Could there be a setting on the iPhone itself that will not force the encryption? Possibly something related to Keychain? Anybody?

I edited my post after I saw your subsequent post, as you clarified what you were saying, which I originally misunderstood. Hence the reason for editing my post and stating what I did.

Sounds like you have a bugged option. I don't recall said option being checked when I backed up my phone.
You should be able to download the GM IPSW file, then press shift-click update/restore and then select the IPSW file. The phone should be updated to IOS8 GM.
Thats how GM works, it's like a final/public release, you can't OTA update from betas to final/public releases or vice versa.
You will not be able to OTA from a beta version to final release. No software developer allows this. Think about it for a bit.
