It’s been like this for over an hour. I even plugged into iTunes to load up all of my music. Rebooted after iTunes sync was finished and nothing has changed.

Can anybody suggest anything here?

I had to actually download the apps again. Mine never fully restored last time I did this. It stayed on waiting for 5 hours.

I deleted one of them and reinitiated the download from the App Store and it just sits there "Waiting" like the rest.

I had to tweek some of my wifi settings: was having issues connecting to Apple servers.

But even then, did seem to hang on several apps. I tapped each one one at a time to force a download.

But as others have said, patience.

Came back to say you were right. Woke up this morning and everything was where it should be.

Thanks!

Awesome! You're welcome.

I had all my apps up in five minutes, but my girl had to wait for four hours . . . it's all a matter of timing and expectation :)

Always was this way - took a while to download but it does get done.

I've been through every iteration of the iPhone save the 4s and have always restored from a backup and this is first time I've ever seen this behavior so I think "always" is a bit of a stretch.

I've restore a bunch of times and the apps always had to re-install - happened automatically but had to restore - the space to put all your apps on your backup would be large.
Anyway always works this way for me.
