Sorry if this is a recurring topic posted, but I was wondering if you guys could provide some insight. I restored my ipod touch back to factory settings tonight, then used my saved back up to load my apps back onto it. Most of them were listed in my iPod's 'apps' tab in iTunes, but a few are missing.

It's not a big deal, just a little annoying if I have to repurchase. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

(And yes, I backed up the device before restoring.)

Backing up doesn't save the apps. You have to right-click on the iPod icon, and click "Transfer Purchases". This will transfer any apps or music you bought.

Redownload

If you redownload apps you have already purchased from the app store, it will not charge you again. I know from experience.
