Restored + Updated = Apple tv won't turn on

I have a 2nd gen atv. I recently restored and updated the device using the usb method, and according to itunes, everything was successful. Unfortunately, when I reconnect the hdmi and the power cable nothing happens. No light on the front, no picture on the tv.

Please someone tell me my atv didn't just die 🙁
