Restoring bookmarks, music, apps etc from an iPod Touch?

Because Windows screwed up my MacBook Pro (screwed up all partitions on the drive) I had to reinstall Snow Leopard and thus I lost everything in my user profile, but I have all the important stuff on my iPod Touch. How would I go about getting the stuff back from it without iTunes purging the device? Do I have to use some 3rd party tool or will iTunes be able to copy everything back?
 
iTunes will not copy stuff from your iPod - you need a 3rd party utility like senutil. google something like "ipod to mac".
