I picked up a 7+ yesterday, and setup the phone as new. Once i logged in with my apple ID, all of my saved pictures/contacts/apple music/etc were transferred over to the new iPhone.

My wife is going to take my iPhone 6, and i had planned on wiping it clean, before restoring it with her iCloud data. When i went to erase the iPhone 6, it asks for my Apple ID before wiping the data on the iPhone.

My question is, will entering my Apple ID, and wiping the iPhone 6, erase any of my content currently stored in iCloud under my Apple ID?? I don't want to screw something up with all of the data in iCloud which is currently being used by my new 7+.

    Thanks!

No, everything in your iCloud account will be fine. The wipe/erase process just removes everything locally on the device.
