Restoring from a TC

Hey guys I need to do a complete restore from my TC. What i was wondering is. My TC setup is so that my laptop connects to the TC wirelessly. Is it ok If I connect my TC directly to my laptop via network cable to make data transfer quicker, or because the TC is setup over a wireless network it won't let me do this???

That should totally work. Turn off wireless in the airport settings and/or WLAN on the laptop before restoring to be sure that it will use the LAN connection (maybe it also does so without doing this steps, I'm not sure, but it can't hurt) and everything should be fine.
