hello
my machines been acting weird and i was going to reinstall leopard and then load back all my files. Before I do this, i want to make sure I do this right.
Steps:

- Erase drive and install new OS
- Open Migration Assistant
- Restore from time machine backup off of my USB external

I have never done it this way so i was just making sure this would work without me losing files.

Yep, that should work. All you need to make sure of is that all of your files are backed up. Double-check the "Don't Back Up" list, just incase.
