hi all,

so i just got a brand new iphone 3gs and i was loading apps on it and for some reason they did not open... i believe people had the same issue with the new ipod touch that did the same thing... anyways i just wanted to know if it is bad for the iphone to restore it?

please let me know...

search around this issue doesnt need a restore to fix it, it happened to me once and im pretty sure i fixed it by deleting and re downloading an app

i already restored it and now it works great... my only question was does a restore harm the phone at all?

No, but it does send Apple detailed information about your family, upon restore.

But seriously, no. What "hidden files" are you talking about?
