your apps are downloaded from App Store after restore. Depending on whether your app has been pulled from App Store or not, you may or may not be able to use the same set of app after restore.

Sometime around iOS 8, iOS 9 Apple stopped allowing apps in iTunes backups. As stated, they redownload.
