Other Restoring media from iCloud backup taking too long

Got the phone yesterday and restore from iCloud has not completed (> 24 hours, 1Gbps Internet wifi, pluged in all the time and overnight). Appears to be hung up restoring media. What should I do next?

Tried Reset all settings, and restart the phone but it didn't help.

Servers are probably taking a hit. I do backup to iCloud for emergency, but to transfer to a new iPhone I actually backup to my Mac and restore from iTunes. It’s so much faster. If you still have your old iPhone all set up and iTunes on a computer, I’d try that.

I also suggest that you encrypt your backup to iTunes with a password since that keeps passwords for apps set up in your restore.
