Hello, I've just bought used 5th generation iPod nano. At the beginning everything was perfectly right. However, when I plugged it to my macbook, some problems occurred.
I suppose that previous user had a PC, so I decided to restore the device. iTunes downloaded the software from the Internet, it started installing it, it asked me even for a password. At the end, I saw that the restoration is impossible due to an unknown error 1430. I have been looking for help over the internet for few hours but I eventually gave up; I don't know what to do. I was even considering reformatting the device using disk utility, but I decided it's not a good idea. (http://www.methodshop.com/gadgets/ipodsupport/erase/) All my software is up-to-date.
