I just got a AEBS and connected a usb hd. I partitioned the hard drive into three partitions. I know you can restrict access to the hard drive within airport utility by account. I wanted to know if I could somehow restrict access to a certain parition?

I basically want my sisters macbook to just see and have access to her partition and the same for my macbook. Not sure if there is some script/setting or software I can try and set this up or if this is even possible.

    Thanks in advance! :apple:

I know what you're saying. I don't think you'd be able to "restrict" access to any single partition without resorting to using different user accounts on AEBS disks.

You could create separate sparse bundles (disk images) that a user could mount. You'd have one password to access your AEBS disk and then another to access an individual disk image (encrypted in either 128 or 256 bit AES).
