Resume route glitch

Hi all.

Every time I plug my phone into CarPlay, I am given the option to resume a route from a few days ago. Clicking the X to close it, starting and then ending it, deleting it from recent all do not seem to keep it from reappearing.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
