resume software

Hey folks,

My wife has a macbook air...I either use my Android phone or ipad...I am needing to do a resume. Are there any decent programs for the mac that will auto format and save as a word document?

OpenOffice is free and can save in DOC format, though Pages will also save in DOC format just fine.
