    Ok this is getting annoying.

Currently in my Energy Saver Setup, for Power Adapter settings (when plugged in), I have the settings for the following:

    Computer Sleep: 1 hour
    Display Sleep: 1 hour

Put the hard disk(s) to sleep when Possible (OFF)
    Wake for network access (ON)
Automatically reduce brightness before display goes to sleep (ON)
Start up automatically after a power failure (OFF)

Now when the computer goes to sleep, I can't seem to wake it back up when I come back to use it. The screen is blank, my 24" ACD is blank although the backlight is on, everything seems to be on but nothing is on the screen.

The only I get it back working is by holding the power button down and having it to force shut down and then start it back up.

Am I missing something here?? Is there a specific keystroke?

    Thanks!

Did you hit the space bar? That's what works on mine.

Yes, I pressed every key on the keyboard, including the mouse.

    hmm, don't know.
Is this in clamshell mode? If so, keyboard and mouse wired or BT?

    Not in clam shell mode.

I have 1 MBP connected to my 24" ACD which also has a 24" Dell LCD connected via Diamond USB Video Adapter.

1 MBP and 2 monitor (3 monitor setup).

The keyboard is wired with a Magic mouse. It actually happened again so I don't know what to do at this point.

    Revisiting this again.

    Anyone know anything more?

I have search the google, the yahoo, the web and peope have issues but no resolution it seems?

I did figure out that if I shut the lid and open and close it a chance to sleep again and I open it, it springs back to normal.

However, after a lengthy amount of time of sleeping, nothng is being displayed but a black screen, when I hit the spacebar or any key for that matter. I know the computer is on, but it's just a black screen.
