Retail or Online IP4 Purchase Incentives..

Is there an advantage to purchasing the IP4 from Apple or AT&T over BB, Walmart, or Radio Shack? Still paying sales tax online right?

The AT&T rep said he'd throw in a car charger or case, is this the norm?
 
As you could potentially end up requiring a case of some kind just to get the phone to function properly, I'd take the guy up on that offer myself... 😉
