retail video card G5

I hope this question hasn't been ask, and if it has I sincerely apologize. I think I am going to purchase a G5 1.8 dp but I know that I can't live (for very long anyhow) with the 5200, so what is my best bet for purchasing a retail card. I can't BTO because I need to finance the computer and I am in Canada so now apple store. I don't want to spend the $599 CAN for the x800. Will the 9800 128 work in the G5 (on the ATI site is says 128AGP for G4 only)? What about the 9200 128 PCI? Would appreciate some advice. The card would be mostly for video, web design, and some gaming.
