Retina display failure

I've had my 15" retina mbp for about 2 months now. Last night, the screen went white with some very faint reverse polarization still visible.

Exactly like this:

The machine is currently with Apple awaiting a screen replacement.

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

U do that all the time to any screen the defects will develop. Lolz.

Defects, not the whole screen going white...

That doesn't seem right - I'd take it to an apple store and get it replaced.

Looks like a loose lvds cable within the display assembly.
