You will find people accepting minor flaws, as long as it isn't a big deal. This is true for most products, and not exclusive at all to Apple.

I can see this may be a problem, but I simply don't see any issues on mine.

That said, I have a scratch on my of monitors and I have been ignoring it for a while now; maybe I'm just learning to ignore certain defects and damage.
