    I think you might be confused. The retina display is only in the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S as well on the iPhone 5. The iOS has nothing to do with it.

    It's also on the new iPad, iPod Touch 4G and upwards, and 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

    Its a high quality display with a certain number of ppi (pixels per inch) that allows you to not distinguish the difference between each pixel at a normal viewing distance. (I believe its 326 ppi but I'm not definite on that). So basically its insanely high-res.

    True, but since he posted in the iOS6, I assumed he was speaking about iPhone or iPod Touch. But you know what I get for assuming :D

    Lot of images relating to Retina display in iphone shows like device is transperent.Is it something true ?

    Yes it is literally transparent. It's almost magic.

    Another very useful feature in iPhone 5 is the ability to project and hologram to have 3d multitouch. You should really go to an Apple Store and try it.
