Retina enhanced smilies

I've noticed that the smilies available when posting threads/comments are a bit fuzzy on the rMBP. Any plans to introduce Retina capable ones?

I'm pretty this would require revamping the entire forum, and probably include upgrade to a newer version of VB... which means not anytime soon.

Could they just replace the image files or would that cause problems?

They can add/replace the smilies without having to upgrade the site or anything else. vBulletin is set up for that.

there's a lot of retina issues with the forum. the HUGE paginator for one...
