how much faster is the fastest graphics card option in the retina imac 5k against the standard?
is it going to be a difference even in standard daily use like web browsing and photos and so , i don't mean editing or so ?

I have the base model GPU but upgraded with the I7 CPU and 256 flash. While I haven't done a direct comparisent between the upgraded GPU and mine (the retina retina iMac is kinda rare to have on display in DK) I can say I am fully satisfied with it. It feels fast and smooth in Yosemite browsing webpages and doing daily tasks.

If I was a gamer though where it is about squeezing out every FPS I would go for the upgraded GPU. Otherwise I would save the money and put it towards something else :)

Apparently the M290X may lag a bit more in the Yosemite UI, but otherwise there isn't much difference for most usage. Same goes for getting the i5 instead of the i7.

Funny thing, i don't have any lag with 290X and firefox. Safari open with few tabs and lag.

So, is it 290X or Safari
