I would sometime get blue screen on my mid 2010 27" iMac but never as often as I do on my Retina iMac which I boot into Windows 7 on through bootcamp. The blue screen happens a lot when watching 1080p clips on youtube at full screen and, sometimes also even when not viewing at full screen. Also as soon as the pc is force to shut down and restarts back up as soon as Windows is back I immediately get an adobe flash player update this happens ALL the time whenever this happens.

Also as of recent and for the first time ever last night I got prompted for an AMD update which I believe was for the Catalyst control center but when extracting and going to install the update I had some kind of message stating that it could not be installed because of some sort of "AMD" thing not being found on my computer. Could anyone here shed some light on the issue?

I watch a lot of FullHD clips on YouTube in OS X and I never get blue screens. :)

Why are you messing around with the AMD drivers? Just stick with the drivers that come as part of the Boot Camp installation.

i never once messed with the drivers but it was just as of yesterday that a prompt popped up for an update for the AMD Catalyst Control Center but prior to that I was still getting blue screen. I'm not sure exactly what causes it but i know for certain a lot of the times when it does happen is when I'm viewing the clip at full screen and set to 1080p. Heck if i try and watch 4k clips on youtube while booted to Windows it just stays still and doesn't play at all as soon as I switch to watch in 4k.

This being said while booted in Mac OS i never get any kind of problems what so ever this only happens while booted into Windows sadly.

I also have this problem. Did you ever figure it out?

Sorry for the late reply, just now logged into the forum. I have since found that the issue will be dependent on the browser you use. When I use Chrome it rarely EVER happens almost not at all in fact. However it still does happen randomly when using either IE or FireFox. I still can't figure out the issue or a fix to it or know why and how it happens.
