So, this is my first day with the new Retina 15" Macbook Pro.

Text is a bit blurry in Safari. I am *guessing* this is because the browser is not retina-ready and needs to upscale to the new format.

I would expect this will be fixed with Mountain Lion.

The second problem is resizing of images. Across the board, I'll open a program and see icons or content quickly go from large to small as it adjusts itself for the new display.

    Anyone seeing similar issues?

(BTW, I have the screen scaled one below the standard retina best setting so I get more space)

If you want to rush out and get a new product, you will suffer the issues until there is a fix. Early adopters should know this by now

This is probably the source of at least some of these issues. This screen scaling is a brand new feature, it probably still has some kinks to be worked out.

Try using the "Best for Retina" mode for a little while and see if you see the same issues.
