Just thought I'd share my issue incase it is of any help.

About 2 months ago I started having random screen flickering issues with my retina MacBook (15 base model). It looked like a tv screen with bad signal. There are some YouTube videos that people have captured.

I finally took it into the Mac store because a fresh install of the OS, a reset of the smc and the pram did not correct the issue. They ran a full diagnostic and at some point during their testing they were able to reproduce the problem. They will be replacing my display for now. I should have the comp back soon and will report back.

How did things work out for you after getting your display replaced? I've been having what sound like similar issues... I have three videos. Two are from a while back and are less extreme, so I never did anything about it. The third is from just now. It was going berserk while on video chat, and it kinda freaked me out...

And the extreme...
