Retina macbook pro and HDMI audio out

Anyone know if the new Retina Macbook Pro supports HDMI audio out as well as video out? I was thinking of connecting one to my HDTV at some point (I'm planning on getting one in about 2 weeks).

Yes it does.

It does, although I've found you have to manually select it in the sound preferences.
