I have mine at the full 2880x1800 using SetResX... So much screen real estate but it makes my eyes bleed :)

I'm using 1680 by 1050. Perfect mix of space and looks imho.

I just installed Windows 7 on mine, and it defaults to 2880x1800...its unreadable. It's almost funny.

I use best for Retina for normal use. When i need more, I switch. I do this because honestly, if its not on best for retina, its not that clear at all.

1920. As a photo editor, I love getting 17" of real estate in a 15" form factor.

For the most part I use "Best for Retina" - the lack of workspace doesn't bother me too much. Especially knowing that retina optimized apps will probably negate the need to increase the resolution in time.
