I cannot find this information online seems when i playing fifa13 or pes2013 with my retina MBP under WIN7. I felt the display is a bit lagging on the background when the ball move fast.

I had the game running on 1920x1200
Anyone know what is the Frequency for this display ?
    60HZ, 120HZ or 240HZ ? Dont tell me it is 60HZ ..

I'm sure it's 60Hz, I haven't seen many displays that are 120 or 240Hz outside of TV sized panels.

Does it lag as much if you lower the resolution?

Of course its 60hz, just as 99.9% of all other displays out there  If you see lag, it may be that your display has the image persistence problem.

more than 60 Hz doesn't really matter if your GPU is only being able to say throw out 30 fps...

Mess with your graphics options and make sure your getting a high frame rate, then if the game has an option for vsync, enable that so it tires to sync up the refresh rate and the drawing of the game down the screen.
