Hi guys 😀
A new graphics update (306.02) for the rMBP has been released, promising significant performance improvements 😉
Excitinggg 😀
So, is this only for installation on Windows? (I've had a Mac for 2 weeks, I'm still learning new stuff!)
yes, you won't ever have to worry about drivers for the OS X.
Doesn't work, tells me "No compatible hardware found". I'm in Win7great to hear!
I haven't had a chance to try them yet. here is the link in case anyone is wondering:

so far i'm seeing about a 20-30% increase in frames at native resolution. about time we get some drivers 😀
why not read one post above this one. it's bad enough nobody can seem to find solutions on their own...they can't even the thread they are posting in???
Lol chill out, I did read it. You never mentioned anything about it being more compatible, and when I went to download it it was very slow so I just went with the official one.
I'm using Win 7 and also received the "No compatible hardware found." error. I'd love to use this though.
Just for future reference. While using Bootcamp, what is the best way to know if there are drivers updates available for your Mac hardware. Is it the Apple Software Update program?
20-30% increase in what exactly?
in games.
I play League of Legends. Before it was only playable at 1680x1050. Now i can play full native resolution 2880x1800 no worries. 60 frames per second.
Also Battlefield 3 has improved dramatically
With any luck, Nvidia will have some actual, non-beta, drivers out by the end of the year.
Would love to know if it improves GW2's performance, but I wont hold my breath, as its poor performance is mainly down to poor optimisiation.
