Retrieving deleted text messages

I have managed to delete a set of text messages from my iPhone and the last sync that my iPhone did was Dec 09 or after the this morning. Is there anyway of getting the messages back from Dec 09 to today?

If the last sync you did was about 5 months ago you can only retrieve those old texts. Not the ones you deleted recently.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking due to typos, but a restore from your last backup will get all texts previous to that backup.

The last backup I did was in Dec 09 and then again in April 2010. I am looking to see if there is any way of restoring the text messages in between

Let's say you last synced April 2nd.
You can restore all texts up to then but obviously not the ones between the 2nd and today. If you accidentally deleted them they are gone.
