Found this forum today while trying to find a way to undelete files, deleted straight from the network/server.

Today at work I accidently deleted some images from the server/network and they are not in my trash and i can't find them anywhere, does anybody know how to undelete files that were deleted straight from the server?

Help will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, files deleted from a network share, such as a server, do NOT go to the Trash, but are instead removed immediately. Thus, there is no simple way to recover them. You can use a data rescue program, which might work, if the part of the drive the deleted files were on hasn't been reused yet.

yh, we didnt have what i need backed up.
We tried a recovery freeware programme, but it hasnt worked.

Thanks for your help!
