My wife and son are at her parent's house tonight, and I'm back at our house. I sent her there with a new ipod touch, so we can Facetime (I have an iphone 4). I told her she'd have to input her dad's network password.
When she gets there she calls and says he can't remember the password. Then I remember it's saved on my MBP. I look it up (Settings>Network>advanced>[His network]>edit) and I can tell it's 10 characters (10 dots), but the "show password" box is ghosted. Other networks are 9 or 16 or 14 characters. His is a WPA2 network, like most of the others on the list.
I'm running OSX 10.6.4.
I seem to recall there was a way to show the password of a saved network. My MBP connects automatically . . . so it's on here somewhere. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!
