Haven't tried this but came across it recently, multi-platform gaming emulation and PPC Leopard still supported!

What Cores are built?

"
Cores
RetroArch is a modular program that runs emulators and games within its framework as if they were 'plugins'.
These plugins are called 'cores', and you need to install them inside RetroArch to be able to use them.
These cores can also be used in other programs that implement the Libretro Application Programming Interface (API).
Both Libretro and RetroArch were made by the same developers, and RetroArch serves to demonstrate Libretro's power and scope."
In https://www.libretro.com/ there are more examples, like
Case Study: Floppy Bird
Core Compilation
Fetching Cores
The easiest way to fetch all the cores is to use libretro-super. Run
1 ./libretro-fetch.sh
Building Cores
The easiest way to build all the cores (for OSX PowerPC) is to use libretro-super.
To build all cores for OSX, run
1 ./libretro-build.sh
Which version did you use? Do you still have the link?I actually tried it a few months ago.. the application opens on my PowerBook G4 but I couldn’t get anything to actually run. But that might be user error as I’ve never really messed with retro arch before.
What Mac are you using?Which version did you use? Do you still have the link?
I tried several ones and or it does not open at all or it opens with a white or black screen and won't load any content...
Sadly I tried that (I am the first of the comments, lol)

No joy![]()
Yes, after a while I was able to use it in my machines. Of course it wasn't perfect because it needed some optimizations (that came with much later builds that wasn't compiled for our older OSX versions) but in general it works. Was anyone ever successful in using retroarch on our beloved powerpcs?![]()
I totally forgot to do this.I’ll boot up my PowerBook and see what version is on it this week
