Hello,

I bought a 15in Macbook Pro with Retina Display with 16GB of ram two weeks ago, so today is my last day to return it. With the Apple event coming up this month, are they likely to refresh the 15" MBPr?

I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to return it and wait to see what they come out with...

Thanks

Might be less chance Apple will come out with an updated MBPro Retina that quick. As far as I know any kind of refresh costs money and Apple is always "business minded" when it comes to putting out money on refreshes.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. Puts me more at ease when thinking that my 2 week old MBPr could be somewhat outdated already haha.

They'll have probably made some manufacturing revisions, but they won't announce them to the world - it would be pointless. Would finding out that they've moved the fans 0.2mm to the left make you buy that over the current one?

No, it makes no sense for apple to update the current 15" MBP so soon after releasing the rMBP.
