Return and rebuy?

Discover credit card is currently offering 10% cash back rewards on all in-store Apple Pay purchases from now until 12/31/15. I am going to be buying a refurbished iPad Air 2 online from Apple.com being they do not sell the refurbs in store.

If I order the iPad from Apple.com, would I be able to bring it to a store and return and rebuy it on the spot?

You could always go into the store and use ApplePay to purchase an Apple Store gift card, then use that to buy the iPad online.

Do what I did. Buy a brand new one from Staples. They are $100 off right now and Staples accepts Apple Pay. I went in yesterday and ordered a 64gb iPad Air 2 wifi for $499 plus tax and paid via Apple Pay using my discover card so getting me an extra $50+ in cash back. On top of that I am a Staples Reward member and get 5% rewards on my purchases.

You have to pay with Apple Pay in store for the 10%. But at Staples you can order in store on their kiosk or computer and choose to pay at register and have shipped to your house or the store. I had to do this as they didn't have the one I wanted in stock. Was delivered today to my house.

You can also add Apple Care+ at Apple Store within 60 days also again using your discover with Apple Pay to pay for another 10% back on that.
