I bought my Air last Saturday. I went to the Apple store yesterday with my receipt and they did a return/repurchase and gave me the $75 card. The downside is my bank account took another $650 hit while I await the refund. I love how when retailers take your money, it happens instantly, but when they refund your money, it takes days.

Me too, I understand that people done it and just got the gift card given to them in the US but in the UK it was a discount rather than a gift card so they would have it refund you money so maybe they would want the iPad back and a new one purchased for this reason so I didn't risk it. Unless I'm wrong? Anyone in the UK do it?

Yeah, doesn't that kinda piss you off. I think this is something that the government should consider regulating as part of consumer protection.

I just paid the £19 to upgrade from 64gb to 128gb.
