Return store bought AW via mail/shipment?

I purchased an AW5 at an Apple Store that is more than 100 miles away. I want to return in in lieu of a refurbished 4. Is there a way to ship a store-bought product? Can’t seem to find info for that on the apple sight anywhere.

From the Canadian site as that’s where I’m from, but I can’t imagine anywhere else would be different.

If it’s a store purchased item, it must be returned in store, but you can take it to any Apple store. No option for mailing it in. However, online orders can be returned either shipping it back or taking it to your nearest Apple store. At least in the U.S, you can.
