This poll is for XS or XS Max owners with iPhones not performing as expected. With 14 day return window closing starting tomorrow for launch day orders. What are your plans.

I’m keeping my XS Max with the expectation (hopefully not being too naive) that Apple will make things right. I turned in my 7+ last week for the Next program with at&t and don’t have another phone to use. I also wasn’t interested in any of the other models - had my heart set on the beautiful new Max (shouldn’t have watched the Keynote, lol. I’d still be here in ignorant bliss).

It is a thing of beauty, though.

No problems here. I love my XS Max. Best phone I’ve ever had. It hits the sweet spot of the X design with the body of a plus.

Agreed. Mine has no issues either.

No problems with my XS Max.

If you’re having no problems, why are you commenting?

It’s a tough decision. FaceID sucks compared to TouchID for my uses. This Xs Max is slower than my 8+ for everything that involves the internet, on 5ghz-wifi and LTE. The slightly bigger screen is neat, but I really really hate the network issues and the screen still isn’t usefully bigger. The cpu/gpu speed bump is unnoticeable coming from an 8+.

Because as much as everyone wants to make it a big deal, there’s tons of people who aren’t having any issues.

No problems, but returning mine later today. Not enough improvements to justify the cost.

Is tomorrow the last day to return launch day purchase? For sure? My invoice doesn’t have the date since purchased online for pickup :( Too lazy to drive down today. Thanks!

Tomorrow is the last day. If you bought online you can go to your order and initiate return.

Flaky reception here, but not a deal breaker. I love the screen and phone so much I'll deal with it if this is a hardware issue.

The OP probably could have worded the title a little better, but I believe the thread is specifically for people who are having issues to gauge what decision we’re going to make, as tomorrow is the last return day for launch day purchases.

To answer the poll, I have WiFi issues but I’m trusting that Apple is going to fix them. Everything else is great so I’ll deal with it until a fix comes.

Already returned first one so I have another week. Terrible WiFi performance and in contact with Apple about it. I have no idea what to do because, after iOS 11, I have no confidence they’ll fix issues in a timely manner.

For all the posters here that chimed in to say this thread was stupid or that you don't have issues: good for you. Seriously, I'm glad you aren't deal with this stuff because lots of people ARE having them and this thread is explicitly for those people.

By doing so also gives you an additional 14 days to actually return it and as long as Apple receives it by 10/19/18 you are set.

Edit: That is if you send it via Fedex and directly to the Apple Store.

Low signal area problems. Keeping it, since it varies which to me points to software which can be addressed.
Should it be hardware I still assume some assistance from Apple, considering IUP and AppleCare.
Everything else is better than any prior phone including FaceID. That’s what swung the pendulum.

Isnt today (Oct 4th) the last day to issue a return and get a full refund or can we go to the apple store tomorrow (oct 5th) and return for a full refund?

People say it’s tomorrow per receipt.
