Hi All...help!

I purchased an air from the online apple store recently. I'm still within my 14 day return period. I heard a while back that Apple dropped their restocking fee for returns, however, when I try to return it online, the return interface for non-defective opened items shows that there will be a 10% restocking fee assessed for the return.

This is against everything that I have heard and wondered if anyone has made such a return and whether they were charged?

It's really weird and I keep thinking that they just haven't gotten around to changing the website to reflect no restocking fee as long as you're within the 14 day period, BUT, it's been over a month since the announcement.

Does anyone know anything about this???

I don't want to click on the return button only to have to pay 10% and fight them on it later down the track.

Cheers.

I'd definitely talk to Apple. Even if the return policy is in effect for your purchase, they've been known to waive it.
