im curious on what everyone will be doing if faceID doesn’t work with your respective sunglasses? I know there is an accessibility feature to disable the “eye ball” scan but I feel that defeats the purpose.

Curious what you all plan to do if it simply doesn’t work with your sunglasses.

Lift my sunglasses off my face for the second it takes to complete the scan. I know it sounds inconvenient, but it is what it is.

From what I understand, it should work through sunglasses. If it doesn't, I don't think I'll return it just because of that, but I will be annoyed.

Seems kind of a silly reason to return the phone, but hey if you're not happy return it.

Personally, I don't wear sunglasses so this would not be an issue for me anyways.

I wear sunglasses a lot (very sensitive eyes). But I been noticing my current usage pattern is to lift them off my eyes (and place on my head) when using my current iPhone. I never really noticed. I guess I do it subconsciously. I just cant see my iPhone screen that well while wearing them. I guess thats just me though.
