Returning iPhone at Apple store instead of ATT?

Hey guys, I bought my iPhone at the ATT store on June 29th.. Since then I got a replacement.

Will I be able to return my iPhone at the Apple store despite buying it at the ATT store and it being a replacement iPhone? WIll my two year contract be canceled as well?

The return policy on apple's website says it has to be returned to same location it was purchased. Call att and ask them.
I just got off the phone with apple, I'm returning mine. Headed to att now to reactive my 3gs.
 
So that means I can't return mine right? Since I have a replacement and my serial number is different?

I called up ATT, you can return your phone. You probably need your original receipt and the genius bar replacement paper. Did you order your iphone as an add in line? cause if you do, you have to get a new number. your add in line have to be cancel entirely.

Yeah, you missed that it stressed how returns to an Apple store are really restricted -- many will not process it if you bought it from Apple online, so they probably will not take it if purchased from att. But you have to call the specific store before going in to check. There was other info there that may be helpful too. Good luck with your return.

Call Apple. Looking forward to one less complainer on these boards
